Calgary Pickleball Center's: Plastic Classic

Description

The Center's Plastic Classic is the fourth tournament in a monthly series throughout the year.

This month we are changing things up a bit! Mixed Doubles will be played on Saturday and Gendered Doubles played on Sunday. We will also be featuring a 4.5+ !!

Tournament Dates:

Mixed Doubles - Saturday, April 6th
Men's Doubles & Women's Doubles - Sunday, April 7th

Format:

All brackets will be round robin format with the top 8 teams in each division making playoffs. Should a bracket have two pools the top 4 teams from each pool will advance to playoffs.

All round robins will guarantee between 60 and 90 total points. eg. A pool of 6 teams will play 1 set to 15, (75 points) A pool of 8 teams will play 1 set to 11, (77 points)

Playoffs
Quarterfinal - 1 game to 11 points win by 2
Semi-Finals - 1 game to 11 points win by 2
Bronze Medal - 1 game to 11 points by 2
Gold Medal - Best of 3 to 11 win by 2

*The tournament director reserves the right to add, combine, modify, or cancel skill levels/events pending registration numbers*

Additional Information

-Entry Fee: $54.95 per player which includes one event and a Tournament Entry Package (T-Shirt + Ball)
-Second Event entry fee $39.95

Pickleball Canada Organization membership is required to enter tournament.

PCO sanctioning currently in application.

Bracket Clarifications
2.5 bracket will include players up to a rating of 2.99
3.0 bracket will include players up to a rating of 3.49
3.5 bracket will include players up to a rating of 3.99
4.0 bracket will include players up to a rating of 4.49

Refund Policy

All refunds prior to March 31st, 2024 are subject to a $15 administration fee.

After March 31st refunds will only be considered in extenuating circumstances.
