Queensland Pickleball Tour - Brisbane

Description

Please hurry up and register for the last Queensland Pickleball Tour event which will be hosted in Brisbane at Shaw Park Tennis Centre on the 15th and 16th October!

The Queensland Pickleball Tour is a series of 5 events played in some of Queensland's best locations. The series will offer both Open and 50+ Open brackets with singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.
The series will culminate in a year end final with the top 8 point scorers/Golden Ticket winners progressing to the year end final in each bracket.

Brisbane Pickleball Club is also pleased to offer additional doubles events for players 3.5 and under.
Please keep in mind that each event will include several age groups. However, you will only be permitted to compete in one age group per event!

Please keep in mind that if there aren't enough participants signed up for a given age group, age brackets may be merged at the tournament director's discretion once registrations have ended.

Games are scheduled to start at 8:00 am and finish by 9pm each day. Mixed Doubles will be played on Saturday 15th October while singles and gender doubles will be played on Sunday 16th October.

Draws will be finalised and released after registrations are closed.

Additional Information

PARKING: there is free parking on site next to the tennis centre. If the parking is full, there is plenty of space available on the street.

CASH: Remember there are no EFTPOS facilities so bring along cash for your payments.

REGISTRATION: Make sure you arrive at least half hour before your scheduled matches for warm up and registration.

TOURNAMENT BRIEFING: There will be a tournament brefing 15 minutes before the start of each division event. The Tournament is expected to run for the full day. Be aware that your matches might be as early as 8:00 am or as late as 8:45pm.

CHAIRS: There are limited seats available at the venue so we encourage spectators to bring their own camping chairs.

Refund Policy

In case of unforeseen lockdown, all paid registration fees will be refunded.

If the entire tournament is abandoned due to inclement weather then a full refund will be processed.

In the case where weather intervenes partway through the event that has commenced, and the event cannot be completed, then no refund is applicable.

Refunds will be provided no questions asked up to the close of registration (minus Stripe fees). After registration closes provision of medical certificate will ensure a full refund minus the transaction and service charges. General withdrawal after the close of registration will result in a $30 registration payment being retained to cover PAQ costs incurred. Once draws and times are published, NO refund will be given, except when a medical certificate can be provided.
