Sanford Pentagon Pickleball Open 2024

Description

Sioux Falls Area Pickleball and Sanford Pentagon are hosting a 3-day pickleball tournament. The Pentagon is an indoor facility with 18 courts.

Events will include divisions 3.0-4.5+ in skinny singles, singles, mixed doubles and gender doubles.

We will also include 55+ division in mixed doubles and gender doubles along with a two youth events. One event will be a 12&under coed doubles event and a 50+ with 10&under coed event.

Registration will open September 13, 2024 at 8:00am CST and close October 13, 2024 at 5:00pm CST. You and your partner must have a profile on Pickleballbrackets.com to register. If you previously had a profile on pickleballtournaments.com the two have merged so the same login will work. Both partners must register within 5 days of each other. If one partner doesn't register within 5 days you may be put on a waiting list if the division is full.

Registration fee of $35 includes one event (SIOUX FALLS AREA PICKLEBALL CLUB MEMBERS USE DISCOUNT CODE "MEMBER" FOR A $5 DISCOUNT. Each additional event is $20.

Based on registration the tournament director reserves the right to divide and/or combine brackets and/or move players into the appropriate division based on skill level. If partners skill levels are not equal, players are expected to play the skill level of the higher rated player.

WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR AN EVENT AND VIEW DETAILS YOU MAY SEE THAT IT SAYS "LOSERS CANNOT ADVANCE TO MEDAL ROUND". THIS IS INACCURATE! THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE SOFTWARE AND THEY ARE WORKING ON IT. LOSERS WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY THEIR WAY THROUGH THE LOSERS BRACKET TO THE GOLD MEDAL MATCH.

Additional Information

Concessions will be available each day beginning at 10am. No outside food/beverages or coolers are allowed. Refillable water bottles are acceptable.

Singles: round robin only

Doubles: round robin followed by double elimination bracket

Format may be changed based on actual participants.

Refund Policy

The Pickleballbrackets.com fee of $5.00 per event with a maximum of $10.00 is nonrefundable.

No refunds will be given after registration closes. No exceptions.
