2024 Tucson Senior Olympic Festival

Description

Players must be 50 years old or older by December 31, 2024. $25 per event. All fees and waivers must be submitted prior to the start of the tournament. There is a PickleballBrackets.com service charge of $5 per event, up to a maximum of $10, in addition to the TSOF event fees.

USA Pickleball membership required (see usapickleball.org to join). This is a USAP MMP sanctioned tournament. Valid USAPA membership number required in order to register.

Online registration, payment and waiver required on this site - nothing to mail! You cannot register for other Tucson Senior Olympic Festival events on this website.

This is a double elimination, skill/age tournament for seniors, with only 2 age brackets: 50+ and 70+. ***NOTE: NEW THIS YEAR - Players may ONLY play in skill level events at, or 0.5 above, their current UTPR or initial self-rating at the time of registration.

Brackets are limited to not more than 15 teams per skill/age event or when the tournament director deems the courts are at capacity for the day. Additional teams will be put on the wait list and admitted if space permits.

You have six (6) hours for your partner to sign up before being moved to the waitlist. Order on the waitlist is determined by date and time of the first player of the team's registration. Therefore, entry of the team is not complete until BOTH team members create their online registrations & pay their fees. You will automatically be moved back into the event once your partner registers and pays, if there is still room in the event.

Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or split events, close events when courts are at capacity even if event is not full, and change format based on enrollment.

Tournament ball will be optic yellow Franklin X-40.

Check-in opens each day at 7:00am and play starts at 8:00 am. Check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your event start time each day.

Event start times will be posted on this webpage the week of the tournament.

Rain delay makeup date – Sunday, January 28th.

This tournament is NOT a qualifier for the National Senior Games.

Weather

Wednesday's events will start at 11:45 am. We could use anyone who wants to help dry the courts at 9:00 am.

Refund Policy

No refunds after January 11, 2024 unless event is cancelled or you did not get in from the waiting list. There is a $5 administrative fee for all refunds. In addition, the PickleballBrackets.com service fee of $5-10 is nonrefundable.
