For those who are on the list of needing partner(s), you MUST find a partner by Monday, August 5, 2024 and your partner MUST complete the registration including payment by August 5, 2024. After that date, you will be removed from the registered event without a partner.

San Diego Senior Games (SDSG) Pickleball Tournament is returning to Melba Bishop Recreation Center on August 23-25, 2024.

This is a Qualifying tournament for 2025 National Senior Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa.

All players will be notified by text messages about their court assignments. Please ensure that your profile is updated with the current cell phone and "Opt-In" for text is checked. You are responsible for reporting to the match on time.

All events will be round robin pool play with medal round or as specified by tournament director. START TIME FOR ALL EVENTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE EACH EVENT.

Additional Information

Registration Fees: $75 per person
Event fees: $10 per event per person (when signing up with a partner, he/she will have 1 day to complete the registration otherwise the team will be moved to waitlist).

Pickleball Brackets will collect $5 per event per person with the maximum of $10 per person. For example, if you play 3 events, you will pay $10 for pickleball brackets fees. THIS FEES IS MANDATED BY PICKLEBALL BRACKETS.

The tournament is using Stripe.com as a third party service to collect registration fees.

On the day of event, please arrive early to complete the SDSG waiver form at the registration tables.

Weather

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

This is an outdoor event. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, the San Diego Senior Games will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs, the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.

CANCELLATION DEADLINE - August 1, 2024, Midnight Pacific Standard Time.

Withdrawals BEFORE August 1, 2024 will receive a full refund minus non-refundable service fee of $5 per event, maximum of $10.

Withdrawals AFTER August 1, 2024 will receive NO refund. No exceptions.

PickleballBrackets service fees (usually $5 or $10) are NOT refundable

Refunds will be issued 7- 10 days after the completion of the tournament.
