2023 Mississippi Senior Games Pickleball Tournament

Description

This is a age/skill based tournament. The youngest aged athlete on the team sets the age bracket in which the team will be placed, the highest rated athlete on the team sets the skill group in which the teams will compete. The age breakdowns are 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84,85-89, 90+. The skill set breakdown is as follows in order to best align our games with those of the NSGA.

Division I = 4.0, 4.5, & 5.0
Division II = 3.5
Division III = 3.0, 2.5, 2.0

Additional Information

This tournament will operate under 2023 USA Pickleball Rules. All paddles must be USA Pickleball approved prior to play. Refusal to comply will result in match forfeiture.

Refunds will be issued for the following reasons only:

An event is cancelled by MSG Officials. (Does not apply if participating in multiple events.)
A medical reason supported by physician in writing prior to the start of the MSG March 4, 2023. This is a firm deadline.
It is your responsibility to select events which do not conflict with each other based on starting times. Ending times may vary due to extenuating circumstances. All athletes must check in and be present at the event site prior to start time.
