2023 Oklahoma Senior Games - a USSP Circuit Event

Oklahoma Senior Games is partnered with US Senior Pickleball to run this tournament.

The Greater OKC Pickleball Club will be hosting the Games. Please help spread the word.

This tournament has a secondary registration so you aren't registered until you have registered both in pickleballbrackets.com and okseniorgames.com & paid. Please register first in pickleballbrackets and then okseniorgames.

Our tournament is geared to focusing on the player's experience. We want everyone to have fun and meet some great people. It is not all about the money or winning a medal though most of us wouldn't mind if we get one or two. It is more to do with staying physically fit and mentally sharp, enjoying play and smiling and laughing especially as we gracefully grow older. So, join us and have some fun!

· The Tournament dates are set for Oct. 20th through Oct 22, 2023. Friday: Men's Doubles and Women's Singles, Saturday: Mixed Doubles, Sunday: Men's Singles and Women's Doubles.

· Only medal matches will have a referee

You will need to setup a profile in Pickleball Brackets. And you should self assess your level using the rating from club or other systems . Please also note the rating system that Pickleball Brackets uses is not tied to any others at this time, so it will not impact your rating in other systems like UTPR.

· The Venue is set for LIFETIME FITNESS in Oklahoma City, OK

o We plan to have up to 24 pickleball courts depending on the number of players...8 are permanent pickleball courts.

o Snacks will be provided during the morning and afternoon. Lunch isn't provided.

· Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each Age/Skill event

· Categories: MS, WS, MD, WD, and MXD

· Divisions: Each Category will have skill levels within each age groups

· Age Groups: Starting at 50, and then in 5 year increments to 80+

This tournament is open to all players even those outside of the US

· T-shirts

· Water will provided...please bring your container

You are encouraged to bring your favorite folding chair

ENTRY DEADLINE IS Oct 13th or when we have max entries; whichever comes first!

Players can play up in skill or play lower in age bracket).

MATCH FORMAT

All brackets will be round robin play, allows more play for all teams.
3 team brackets - double round robin 2 out of 3, win by 2
4 & 5 brackets - round robin 2 out of 3, win by 2
6 & 7 team brackets - 1 game to 15, win by 2
8 + team brackets - Pool play with 2 out of 3, win by 2, then a medal bracket with the top 2 teams from pools advancing.

This tournament has a secondary registration site. Please follow these directions.

1. If you go to Oklahoma Senior Games first, on the left side, you will see a blue box that says PICKLEBALL REGISTRATION. It will direct you then to pickleballbrackets.com. Go to #3

2. If you start on the pickleballbrackets.com website, go to #3

3. Update your profile, & fill out all information along with your USSP member number (if you are currently a member) at the bottom of profile in #6 & you will receive a $10 discount in this tournament & other USSP tournaments. Then register your events in pickleballbrackets.com. Next you will "GO TO CHECKOUT" then CHOOSE OKLAHOMA SENIOR GAMES. You don’t pay at pickleballbrackets.com.

4. You will be directed to Oklahoma Senior Games website.

5. “Start a New Registration” in the same events you did on the previous site.

6. Then you will be directed to pay. If you haven't paid at the Oklahoma Senior Games website, you aren't registered yet.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be available up to October 13th. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Emergency refunds will be issued based on documentation and tournament director approval.
