2023 DPUSA National Deaf Pickleball Tournament

Description

All events will be played at Gilbert Regional Park in Gilbert, Arizona. There will be 16 outdoor courts. All nets are permanent. This is for deaf and hard of hearing.

All events will be round robin with medal rounds for top 2 or 4 in each pool unless otherwise indicated. The format may be modified depending on registrations. We will communicate every time we make any changes.

Previous Gold medal winners will be move up to next skill levels. All other players will play at their current rating.

Additional Information

The planned format will be round robin with single elimination playoff. Based on number of teams per event the format may be modified. Number of teams allowed in each event may also changed based on registration. Medal brackets format will also be based on registration.

About DUPR Ratings, the scores will not be loaded into DUPR as we are not using PickleballBrackets.com software for scoring. Players can still submit their scores into DUPR following DUPR guidelines.

Although this tournament in not sanctioned, we will be following USA Pickleball rules.

Times will not be posted until registration closes and the tournament layout is finished. We will do our best to get you times at least a week before the tournament if not sooner.

Payment: We accept CC online for payment. Please make sure you pay your registration fee of $50 and then $5 for each event you want to play in. Example, you are playing in Mens Doubles and Mixed Doubles, total payment would be $60. Plus, the service fee will be charged $10.00. For the whole total payment would be $70.00

Ball: Franklin X40. Practice accordingly.

Bring water, sunscreen, big hat, and fold chairs. Courage you make reserve for Airbnb or VRBO or Time Sharing. The snowbirds will come back to Arizona on around October. They are many hotels is nearby Gilbert Regional Park.

Refund Policy
