WA State’s largest outdoor tournament in a beautiful park setting, with perfect PNW summer weather and the company of friends. The Seattle Metro is a favorite of local, regional and traveling players!
Non-sanctioned double-elimination format. Mens/Womens/Mixed 12+,50+,60+ skill events with cash prize Opens* and Senior Opens*.
Players may register for maximum of 1 gendered and 1 mixed event.
*Open and Senior Open events require minimum UTPR or DUPR rating of 4.5 to register, with the exception of the Men's Doubles Open which requires both players to have a UTPR or DUPR rating of 5.0 to qualify for the Open. Players registering for the Men's Doubles Open with a UTPR or DUPR rating of 4.5 will be required to participate in a "Play-In" event to qualify for the Men's Open.

Due to the limited space at the venue and the high demand to play in the Men's Doubles Open, we will be requiring all teams who sign up for the Men's Doubles Open 12+ who do not have either a UTPR or DUPR rating of 5.0 (for both players) to participate in a "Play-In" event on Friday, July 21st to qualify for the Mens Doubles Open on Sunday, July 23rd. Play-in will have a maximum of 16 teams and all players will be required to have at least a UTPR or DUPR rating of 4.5+. Top 4 teams from Play-In will move on to the Men's Doubles Open. See "additional play-in rules" for more details".

REGISTRATION RULES (Applies to ALL events, Skill and Open)
~Players can only register for ONE “mixed doubles” and ONE “gender doubles” event. (2 events total for entire tournament)
~Players should self-rate when registering. We are not using the UTPR or DUPR rating system. However,
if you register below your published UTPR or DUPR rating, we will automatically move you up to what your rating is (or the waitlist if that division is full).
~Partner not required at time of registration for any event. (PLEASE read details for limited time before moving to waitlist)
~Payment is required at time of registration.
~Any player that does not have a partner registered with 30 days of their initial registration will be moved
to the waitlist.
~If a player needs to change their partner due to injury or unexpected circumstances, they can do so up to 7 days prior to the start of the tournament. Players needing to change partners need to contact the tournament director to do so.
~Waitlisted teams that are complete will be added to the active roster once space becomes available or if a division is expanded.
ADDITIONAL OPEN EVENT RULES (Applies to ALL Open events)
~Teams who register for any Open division will be temporarily moved to the waitlist until tournament director verifies both players have the required UTPR or DUPR rating to compete in the Open event. Verification will take up to 72 hours and both players need to be registered before the director moves the team to the active roster.
~All Open events will have a maximum of 16 teams.
ADDITIONAL PLAY-IN RULES (Applies only to the Men's Doubles Open 12+)
~Double elimination format with top 4 teams from the Play-In moving on to play in Sundays Open event. (format subject to changer per tournament directors discretion)
~Any teams with BOTH partners having a 5.0+ UTPR or DUPR will automatically qualify for Sunday's Mens Open and do not have to play in the Play-In.
~Players must have a UTPR or DUPR of 4.5 or higher to compete in the Play-In and must have registered
and paid for the Men's Doubles Open. Paid teams with a rating under 5.0 will be moved to the waitlist
where the tournament director will determine if they qualify for the Play In.
~If a player registers for the Men's Open without the required minimum UTPR or DUPR rating of 4.5 (or permission from tournament director) they will be moved to the waitlist and will not qualify for the Play-In.
~All players wanting to participate in the Men's Doubles Open need to register for Sunday's Men's Doubles Open event. You do NOT need to register for the Play-In. You will be contacted if you are required to participate in the Play-In first.

~A 50% off discount coupon code will be emailed to all registered players in May and June. Apparel purchased is shipped directly to your home and any items ordered by July 1st will be received before the start of the tournament.
We reserves all rights to refuse service for any reason.
Prize Money
OPEN DIVISION PLAY AND PAYOUT POLICY
Prizes will be only be awarded and distributed equally amongst Open Divisions, with prizes offered for 1st, 2nd , 3rd and 4th place, so long at the division has a minimum of 8 teams. If the division has less than 8 teams, prizes will be prorated as follows:
8 or more teams in an Open division – Double elimination format. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place at 100%.
6-7 teams in an Open division – Double elimination or round robin format (tournament director discretion). Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at 75%.
4 – 5 teams in an Open division - Open division will be either of the following formats (decided by tournament director).
Play in a Round Robin Format within their division, with prizes awarded at 60%.
Combine with the other Open division age group. (ie. Combine 50+ and 19+) Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams at 100%, so long as the combined divisions have at least 8 teams.
Less than 4 teams – Open division will be combined with the other Open division age group. (ie. Combine 50+ and 19+).
If the combined divisions have at least 8 teams, the format will be double elimination with prizes awarded to the top 3 teams at 100%.
If the combined division is only 6-7 total teams, prizes will be prorated to 75% with format decided by tournament director.
If the combined division is only 4-5 total teams, prizes will be prorated to 60% with round robin format.
Teams in any Open division with less than 4 teams will have the option to withdraw for a full refund.
Refund Policy
$10 Admin fee minimum for all withdrawals
REFUND DEADLINE
July 1st - Deadline to receive a refund for registration or event fees is July 1st.
No refunds will be given after July 1st, unless your event is combined with another age/skill group or cancelled. In this case, the tournament director will contact you to notify of changes and you will have the opportunity to request a refund or stay in your division.
