This is a 2023 Blazin' Paddles at Burleson Pickleball Is Great event.
Early Registration will end by the end of Mar 6th: $45 reg + $15 per event
Registration starting Mar 7th is $55 reg + $15 per event
Final registration closes April 4th, 2023, by 11:45 pm
All Round Robin with playoffs for Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals
SCHEDULE - All morning events planned to begin at 9:00 am
Thu, Apr 6th- Sr Mixed Doubles (50-59, 60+), Sr Men's and Sr Women's Singles (50-59, 60+), Sr. Men's & Sr. Women's Singles
Fri, Apr 7th - Sr Men's Doubles and Sr Women's Doubles (50-59, 60+)
Sat, Apr 8th - Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles (8-34, 35-49)
Sun, Apr 9th - Mixed Doubles, (8-34, 35-49), Men's and Women's Singles (8-34, 35-49)
All ages can play on the weekend, but there are only two age divisions: 8-34, 35-49
Skills: 2.5,3.0,3.5,4.0,4.5,5.0
Skill and Age brackets will be determined after registration deadline. Tournament Director has the right to combine skill/age brackets based on skill/age team numbers
USSP - FREE IN 2023 - EACH REGISTERED PLAYER THAT PLAYS THIS TOURNAMENT WILL RECEIVE A FREE USSP MEMBERSHIP. ONLY NEW MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE. CURRENT AND PAST MEMBERS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROMOTION.
No Membership in any association is required for registration.
This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved.

FORMAT
Round-robin with top THREE or FOUR teams advancing to the playoff for gold, silver, & bronze medals (for a non-pool event).
Brackets of 3 will be double round robin with each match 1 to 15.
Brackets of 4 will be round robin with each match 2/3 games to 11.
Brackets of 5-7 will be round robin with each match 1 to 15.
POOL PLAY
If an event has 8 or more teams, the event may be divided into two pools with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the shootout.
The top team from Pool 1 will play second team from Pool 2 and the top team from Pool 2 will play second team from Pool 1.
The winning teams will play each other for gold/silver. Losing teams will play each other for bronze.
Tournament Director may combine, or split brackets as needed.
USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year. In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10-point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. In 2023, the prize points will begin in January and run through the end of December.
