Description
The Connecticut Sports Management Group presents the Nutmeg Fall Classic Doubles and Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament.
Senior Division and Senior Plus events, for players age 60 and up, will be held on Friday, October 5th. Young Adult and Adult Division events, for players under 60, will be held on Saturday, October 6th.
Mixed Doubles will be held in the morning starting at 9:00 AM on Friday and 8:00 AM on Saturday. On both days, Men's and Women's Doubles will begin at approximately 1:00 PM.
The tournament format is round robin for all events with a limited number of teams. For events with more than 10 teams, players will be divided into two pools and the top two teams in each pool will advance to a playoff round to determine medal winners. Players may only register for one day of the tournament per event. Senior players are welcome to play down with a younger partner on Saturday in either Mixed Doubles or Doubles but will not be able to play in that same event on Friday.
Tournament results will be sent to the USAPA for inclusion in USAPA Tournament Player Ratings*
*pending the release of data upload rules and procedures by the USAPA
