Welcome to the Second Annual 2024 West Virginia Pickleball Championship.

We are excited to announce our partnership with the United Pickleball State Championship Series!!

Which state has the best pickleball players?

The answer will be revealed soon enough, courtesy of the inaugural United Pickleball State Championship Series, a set of tournaments conducted across all 50 states in the country. The Medalists of these events will secure discounted registration into the UPA World Championship “Champions Division” taking place Nov. 4 through Nov. 10 in Dallas, TX.

Champions Division
Participants who secure a spot on the podium ( Bronze, Silver or Gold) at a State Championship are eligible for a complimentary event fee to the United States Championship in Dallas, TX. This exclusive offer recognizes and rewards excellence in the Champions Division and ensures the best possible competition. This UPA World Championship will take place from November 4th to the 10th.

*The Champions Division will only be held for skill age divisions. There will not be a Champions Division for Moneyball

Discounted Registration:
Medalists at United Pickleball State Championship events will receive the following discounts on registration.
Gold - 100% ( Free Registration )
Silver - 50%
Bronze - 33%

Join us the weekend of September 27-29th at the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center Sports Complex. This is a MMP Sanctioned tournament, and all medal matches will be refereed with the intent of referees being on as many courts as possible. We will have 15 air-conditioned indoor courts for play and will be using the Gamma Photon indoor ball! See below for the schedule of events. All players must show valid ID at check-in.

FRIDAY Sept. 27th - Women's Doubles and Men's Singles
SATURDAY Sept. 28th - Mixed Doubles
SUNDAY Sept. 29th - Men's Doubles and Women's Singles

Registration Cost - $65
Amateur Event Fee - $20/event
OPEN 5.0 Event Fee - $40/event

OPEN and Senior OPEN Events with guaranteed purse of at least $5,000. Divisions must have at least 6 teams to receive full payout.

All participants are invited to join us for a practice session Thursday September 26th from 3-6pm

Student and Junior discount of $15 with promo code: WVSD24. Valid student ID must be shown at check-in to qualify or be under the age of 16.

Additional Information

All brackets will play round robin format into a playoff single elimination round with the top 4 teams advancing. Round robin games will be played to 15 win by 2 and medal matches will be played best 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2.

*Brackets may be combined at the discretion of the Tournament Director

Prize Money

OPEN and Senior OPEN payout for gender doubles, mixed and singles. Must have 6 teams in bracket to receive full payout.

Refund Policy

All refunds are subject to a $10 cancellation fee. No refunds for any reason after cancellation deadline of 9/06/24. Player fees are non transferable.

Pickleballbracket service fees are non-refundable.
