Point Blank Athletics presents our inaugural Pickleball Tournament : THE MILE HIGH SHOWDOWN in Centennial, Colorado!

ABOUT POINT BLANK ATHLETICS :
Point Blank Athletics is an Athletic Company aiming to bring athletes together for a fun and competitive atmosphere at their spectacular events!

We aim to provide high-quality, valuable, and memorable competitive experiences for you all, the amateur players. We look forward to seeing you at this event!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

ALL PLAYERS MUST ARRIVE AND CHECK IN 30 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED EVENT! IF LATE TO FIRST GAME, THE TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!

Upon CHECK-IN a PARTICIPANT WAIVER/RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER and PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE WAIVER will BOTH be REQUIRED to be SIGNED in order to PARTICIPATE in the TOURNAMENT.

Skill Brackets: 3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0, 4.0-4.5 (ALL AGES)

Format: This will be an unsanctioned (no DUPR), Double Elimination event with 2 guaranteed games (first to 15 win by 2 in the Winner's Bracket and first to 11 win by 2 in the Loser's Bracket).

DUPR - We will NOT be checking DUPR Ratings and will not be entering in DUPR matches. This will be an Exhibition Tournament for tournament practice, fun, and entertainment. Giving the opportunity to players to experience competitive play with whoever they want as a partner without the fear of their partner's or their own DUPR rating dropping. We encourage you to self-rate respectfully and honestly when choosing a division.

SNACKS, FRUIT, and WATER will be provided for the PLAYERS.

Winners: All GOLD medalist teams will receive a CASH PRIZE!!! GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE teams will receive a MEDAL and get their picture taken for the Official Point Blank Athletics Social Media pages!

WAITLIST:
When registering for DOUBLES, the second signed up teammate MUST register within 2 days of the first player. If a teammate does not register within the specified time limit then the first player will be placed on the waiting list automatically. Emails will go out to both players when this happens. Once the second teammate registers they will be moved off the waiting list IF there is still room in the event.

BRACKET MAX:
If a bracket reaches the initial 8-10 team limit, please add yourself to the waitlist. Brackets that do not max out at 8-10 could be combined to provide the best possible playing experience for all participants. The manner in which they would be combined will be determined at the close of registration. If brackets are combined, medals will be awarded to the overall top 3.

TOURNAMENT COST: include a registration fee that covers first event ($50-$60) and a per additional event fee ($10).

SCHEDULE:
Will be posted on the tournament website on September 26st, 2024 by 11:59p PST. Brackets are assigned to times based upon number of registrants, therefore, times can not be established until registration closes.

As a token of our appreciation for all Gold Medalists, we're thrilled to award each winning team a prize of $100 for our first Pickleball Event! We believe that your dedication and competitive spirit will shine and set a high standard for all PBA Events moving forward, we can't wait to celebrate your remarkable achievement! Refund Policy

Refunds are available up to registration deadline. After registration deadline it is at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

$5 (per event) non-refundable service fee will be applied to all refunds.
