Join us for the Igniting Hope for the Homeless Fundraiser Tournament!

We're excited to announce that you have the chance to win back your registration cost! There will be a $100 prize for the 1st place and $50 for 2nd place winners in each division.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 17 for Men’s and Women’s Doubles, and on Sunday, August 18 for Mixed Doubles. The divisions include Ages 39 and Below (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0+) and Ages 40 and Above (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, & 4.0+).

Also, don't miss the raffle drawings, where you can donate for a chance to win various fun prizes like restaurant gift cards and other sponsor-donated items!

The tournament will be held at Rhythm and Rally Sports & Events, an air-conditioned 32-court indoor pickleball facility with Acrytech professional-grade courts in Macon, GA. This event is in support of homelessness in Middle GA and is in partnership with Middle Georgia Associate of Realtors.

Tentative brackets will be as follows:

Saturday, August 17
Men’s and Women’s Doubles 39 - under and 40 - above

Sunday, August 18
Mixed Doubles 39 - under and 40 - above

Start time 9:00am

FORMAT: Round Robin followed by single elimination medal round. After registrations are finalized, more detailed format and start times will be posted.

Brackets may be cancelled or limited in size based on registration numbers. The Tournament Director may modify the competition format in the event of low numbers or other unforeseen delays and circumstances.

Event Registration Policy

IMPORTANT: Tournament Director may move your team to another bracket (lower or higher skill levels) based on your ratings, our knowledge, and for any other reasons. No refund will be allowed in case you are moved to a different bracket.

Online payment via Pickleball Brackets.

Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the tournament waiver, and paid all fees owing. Registration is limited in each event.

If you are waitlisted for an event, you do not need to make a payment for that event. Should you be moved from the waitlist into the event, you must make your payment at that time.

Tournament balls are diadem.

Competition courts will only be available for warm up 30-min prior to the start of the events each day. After the tournament has started, warm-ups are restricted to available courts. This helps us stay on schedule. Plan to arrive at the venue 45 - 60 minutes prior to the start of your event to allow time for check-in, warm-up and to prepare for your first match.

Additional Information

If there are not enough teams for a bracket, we will combine age divisions first, then skill divisions. Larger brackets, we will do a round robin and the top teams from each pool will move on to a playoff bracket. We reserve the right to combine or split brackets as necessary based on timing and those involved.

Weather

Rhythm and Rally Sports and Events is a climate controlled indoor facility with professional outdoor pickleball courts with Selkirk nets.

Refund Policy

Payment is due upon completion of the registration process. This includes registration for the tournament, as well as any optional donations and/or t-shirt purchases made during the registration process. Pending availability, the last day to register for the Igniting Hope for the Homeless Fundraiser Pickleball Tournament will be Sunday, August 11, 2024 11:59pm.

Any cancellations made before Thursday, August 1st will be eligible to receive a refund of the registration fees. Donations, t-shirt purchases, and registration system fees are not eligible for a refund. Any cancellations made after Thursday, August 1st will not be eligible for a refund.

In order to receive a refund of the registration fees before the cancellation deadline (Thursday, August 1st), notice of cancellation must be received by in writing in order to be processed. To cancel your registration, please email medwards@sportsfacilities.com.
