Boehm Park - Edison Road South Bend, Indiana 46635 United States
All start times are subject to change and events might be merged or split based on event registration.
Description
Players must sign up as teams, which can be men, women, or mixed. To start, we are allowing for 18 Beginner teams, 12 Intermediate teams, and 6 Advanced teams. If one group fills up quickly, we will adjust these limits within the objective of having approximately 40 teams. A Round robin format will be used for each group, with a goal of having teams play at least 5 games.
Additional Information
After registrations are complete, the tournament director will divide the teams into groups, which may be pools with a playoff, or separate age-based groups. The schedule will be announced two days before the event. Event start times will be at 8 AM, 11 AM, and 2 PM.
Boehm Park Pickleball Court Ribbon Cutting
Come celebrate the ribbon cutting for the brand-new Boehm Pickleball Courts, in dedication of Ray Comer. This fundraiser event will take place on Saturday, June 24 from 8am–5pm and the official ribbon cutting at 10:30am.
The permanent Boehm Pickleball Courts are at Boehm Park in South Bend.
Open doubles divisions can register to compete for the love of the game and honorary medals are provided by Michiana Pickleball Club. Skill levels 2.0 - 4.0 are welcome to compete.
Michiana Pickleball Club is donating $3000 to South Bend Venues Parks and Arts Scholarship Fund and to place a memorial bench in honor of Ray Comer in the park. The South Bend Venues Parks and Arts Scholarship Fun helps give opportunities to families who would benefit from financial assistance to enjoy recreational opportunities in the city at reduced rates.
No membership of any association is required for registration. However, participants are encouraged to join our sponsoring club, Michiana Pickleball Club, to help grow the sport of pickleball in the Michiana region, bringing together the WHOLE FAMILY and the WHOLE COMMUNITY to experience the joy and benefits of pickleball.
