Noosa Doubles Classic 2023

Description

Noosa Doubles Classic is a very popular sanctioned PAA/PAQ event.
It is held indoors at Noosa Leisure Centre which has free car parking.
Food is available for purchase.
Drinks are available for purchase.

Cost includes:
-Event Cost: $35 for first event, $10 for 2nd Event. (Total $45)

Check your Pickleball Bracket profile:
When you log into pickleballbrackets.com on your phone click the icon next to your name. At the bottom of the screen (there is a light blue bar with your name in it) click your name and then My Profile, look for my club

- Do you have your club name listed? (Noosa Club Members need Noosa Pickleball Club listed to get the discount at registration)

Continue to update your My Profile by adding:

** DUPR - Your pickleball brackets has a field to link your DUPR #. Enter your DUPR number to have the games go into DUPR.

** Pickleball Australia - Member # - this is your club membership number. As this is a sanctioned tournament you need your PAA member number listed.

Additional Information

Round Robin format with playoffs for medals.

NOTE: The event has fixed time to leave the venue. Some matches may be 1 to 15 rather than 3 games to 11 based on the tournament directors direction to ensure we exit the venue within the required time.

*Skill Level: For doubles, you must sign up at the skill level of the higher rated partner. If you want to use your DUPR rating link your DUPR (ID) # in My Profile.

Please note - the courts are close together and can't accommodate wheelchair pickleball players.


The tournament reserves the right to move players and teams between skill level brackets/events.
If time becomes an issue - Bronze maybe awarded based on the number of games and points.

Refund Policy

Refund Policy:
- Full Refund less handling fees ($5) up to April 1, 2023

- After April 1, respect your partner and find somebody to take your place. Please notify via email to the tournament teams via tournament@noosapickleballclub.com of the "Name change" as soon as possible so the draw can be updated for the event. This also applies if you have COVID after the April 1st, date and need to pull out.

- After April 1st, any withdrawals will be less $10 to enable the tournament to cover costs and handling fees.
