Description
Join us on Saturday, January 18th at Bousquet Sport for the Hillcrest Winter Classic, a special pickleball tournament and fundraiser supporting the Hillcrest Educational Foundation. This event provides an exciting day of competitive play for all skill levels while making a meaningful impact in our community. Proceeds will benefit Hillcrest Educational Foundation, a private, not-for-profit agency that offers comprehensive clinical, psychological, and special education services for children, adolescents, and families in Berkshire County, MA, and the Northeast. Hillcrest serves students with complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and high-risk behaviors, providing them with individualized, compassionate care and support.
In coed pickleball, teams can be made up of players of any gender, man-man, woman-woman, or man-woman. This structure encourages inclusivity, letting players team up regardless of gender.
The tournament opens at 8:00 am with Senior Coed Doubles 3.5+ (ages 60+). At 11:15 am, the Coed 2.0 to 3.0 and Coed 3.0 divisions offer a perfect setting for emerging and intermediate players, followed by Coed 3.5 to 4.0 at 2:30 pm. The day wraps up with the competitive Coed 4.0+ division from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Each participant will receive a Yeti water bottle as a gift, and refreshments will be available to keep players energized throughout the day. With a round-robin format leading to playoffs, the Hillcrest Winter Classic promises ample play for all competitors and an exciting journey to the finals.
