MENS & WOMENS SINGLES, GENDERED DOUBLES & MIXED DOUBLES
Skill Levels – 3.0 & Below, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0+, OPEN
Age Groups 19, 35, 50, 60, 70+

70+ age group may have combined skill if needed.
At least 5 entrants are required to form a division.

BRACKET MAXIMUMS WILL INCREASE ALONG WITH DEMAND. ADDITIONAL TEAMS WILL BE ADDED IN WAITLIST ORDER.

Friday, August 23 - Men's Singles & Women's Doubles

Saturday, August 24 – Mixed Doubles

Sunday, August 25 – Women's Singles & Men's Doubles



REGISTRATION FEE: $60
EVENT FEE: $20 (Standard) or $70 (OPEN, Cash Prize)

You are not considered to be fully registered unless you have a partner and are paid in full. Players needing a partner will be waitlisted.

Additional Information

Matches will be in a Round Robin format. The top several teams from each pool will advance to a single elimination bracket. Games to 15, win by two. Four guaranteed matches minimum.

All Gold Medal Winners will qualify to play in the Champions Division at the 2024 UPA World Championships in Dallas, TX in November 2024.

State Championship participants can compete in the “Champions Division” at the UPA World Championships. All Medalists will receive discounted registration at the following rates.

Gold - 100% ( Free event Registration )
Silver - 50% off
Bronze 33% off

The Tournament Directors reserve the right to add or combine age groups and/or skill levels depending on the number of registrations. Every effort will be made to avoid combining skill levels. Match format is also subject to change.

Scores will be uploaded to DUPR following the tournament.

Players must register by July 30th at 11:55PM to receive a free t-shirt with registration.

Prize Money

Per OPEN division, the prize pool is $1000. Each team entered will increase the prize pool by an additional $100.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists will receive 50%, 30%, and 20% of the prize money respectively to divide between teammates.

Refund Policy

Pickleballbrackets.com normally charges a $5 service to anyone who registers for an amateur tournament. This fee will be reduced by 50% for the 2024 Michigan State Championships. This fee is not refundable. The GRPC will withhold a $5 Admin Fee for any refunds.

Refunds for events and registration (less fees) will be offered for withdrawals until August 9th at 11:55PM.

To avoid additional fees from re-entry, refund requests will be processed at the end of the refund period unless a special request is made.
