PLEASE READ: When registering for DOUBLES, the second signed up teammate MUST register within 2 days of the first player. If a teammate does not register within the specified time limit then the first player will be placed on the waiting list automatically. Emails will go out to both players when this happens. Once the second teammate registers they will be moved off the waiting list IF there is still room in the event.
FORMAT
Double Elimination Brackets, Doubles Events, Singles Open Events, 5 or more teams:
- Winners bracket – 2/3-11, win-by-2.
- Loser bracket – 1-15, win-by-2.
- Bronze medal matches – 1-15, win-by-2.
- Gold Medal Matches – 2/3-11 (with tiebreaker as needed.)
- If the loser bracket team wins 2/3-11, a final 1-15 win-by-2 match will be played to determine bracket winner.
Double Elimination Brackets, Singles Events, 5 or more teams (except Open Events, see above):
Winners bracket – 1-15, win-by-2.
- Loser bracket – 1-15, win-by-2.
- Bronze medal matches – 1-15, win-by-2.
- Gold Medal Matches – 2/3-11, win-by-2 (with tiebreaker as needed.)
- If the loser bracket player wins 2/3-11, a final 1-15 win-by-2 match will be played to determine bracket winner.
Round Robin Brackets (4 teams):
- 4 teams or players will play a single round robin, 2/3 to 11, win-by-2.
- Brackets with fewer than 4 teams:
- Brackets with fewer than 4 teams or players may be moved into a combined bracket with the next nearest age group. The number of teams or players will determine the format of play. Multiple age groups with the same skill level may be combined where needed because of insufficient numbers in age groups.
- Round Robin Bracket Winners:
- Round Robin winners will be determined by USA Pickleball Rulebook 12.C.3:
The winner is determined based on number of matches won. (In 2/3-11 format, a match consists of 2 or 3 games.)
If two or more teams are tied:
- First tie-breaker: head-to-head matches won.
- Second tie-breaker: point differential of all games played.
- Third tie-breaker: head-to-head point differential.
- Fourth tie-breaker: point differential against next-highest team.

All events will be played in accordance with USA Pickleball rules and regulations in effect at the time of the tournament. Only equipment approved by USA Pickleball is permitted. See USA Pickleball website for further information.

Refund Policy
CANCELLATION DEADLINE - July 14, 2023, Midnight
Withdrawals on/before July 14, 2023 will receive a refund less a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds (regardless of reason) will be issued after July 15, 2023.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
This is an outdoor event. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, the Pacific Northwest Classic will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs, the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.
