Join Eastside Paddle Club's SUMMER FUN "OUT OF THE SUN" Tournament!

DIVISIONS:
3.0 Men's & Mixed Doubles
3.5 Men's, Women's, Mixed Doubles
4.0 Men's, Women's, Mixed Doubles
4.5 Men's & Mixed Doubles
$1,000 GRAND PRIZE for the Open Division Doubles Gold Medalists (all ages, gender combo, and levels welcomed)

WHEN:
Gender Doubles all divisions will be played on Saturday, August 24th
Mixed Doubles and Open Division will be played on Sunday, August 25th

FORMAT:
-Divisions will be ROUND ROBIN formatting with a single elimination draw following pool play. Games to 11 Win by 2. Bronze and if playoff games are needed, they will be played to 15 Win by 2.
-Bracket Play for Gold/Silver will be best Two out of Three Games to 11 Win by 2.

AFTER THE TOURNAMENT:
All scores will be uploaded to DUPR and Pickleball Brackets Rating within two weeks.

FOOD AND DRINKS:
Food and Drinks will be available for purchase around the club
-breakfast, lunch, dinner options

RECOVERY AREA AND GEAR STORAGE:
-will be in or Workshare Office in the back of the facility.
-limited space for chairs and gear around the club. So limit what you bring into the club.

**Tournament Director has the right to merge divisions, change division start times, or change scoring format based on the flow of the tournament.

Eastside Paddle Club was the first ALL INDOOR PICKLEBALL ONLY membership-based facility in Austin, Texas where people of all ages and skill levels come together for dynamic Pickleball and social experiences to build friendships and community.

We follow USAPA Guidelines and Sportsmanship Rules and expect all players to follow these rules and only USAPA approved pickleball paddles allowed at our tournaments.

Prize Money

$1,000 PRIZE FOR THE OPEN DIVISION GOLD MEDALISTS and is open to amateur pickleball players, regardless of age or gender.

WHAT IS AN AMATEUR? Someone who, at the time of sign up, has not won an APP or PPA main draw GENDER DOUBLES match (back draw or consolation are ok) in the past YEAR AT THE TIME OF SIGN-UP nor has played in a Major League Pickleball match.

July 31st, 2024 - CANCELLATION DEADLINE (for refunds minus a $15 withdrawal fee)
